This old Ruger .45 has been in my battery for awhile now. And despite my penchant for Three Screw .44s, this old gun has seen a lot of use. Sort of in cycles, though, as it gets a workout for awhile, then gets pushed back:
Recently I was given a whole box of Winchester .45 Colt Cowboy Action Loads, so broke out a few boxes of my own reloads and took to the range Saturday morning. The cowboy action loads are very mild shooting, I might add.
In logging in my shooting, I noticed this gun is a scant 104 rounds short of 20,000 rounds being fired in it.
