Help installing the Magazine Release Latch Spring P90

All 10 of mine, both 7- and 8-round, have two cuts.

I listed a few mag latch rebuild kits for the P90 and the P89 on Gunbroker for those that are interested in picking up a spare for when it breaks. Check the auctions link here on the RF for more info.

UPDATE 15 MAY 2018

Way back in NOV 2013 my magazine latch spring broke, it is noted earlier in this thread. I bought 2 new springs from Brownells and installed one, keeping the other as a spare.

WELL, just a couple of days ago, after only 4-1/2 years and not many rounds, that magazine latch spring broke. Fortunately I had the spare, which I easily installed.

I then sent a note to Ruger asking if they would be kind enough to send me a new spring, for free. They responded quickly and said YES. So that spring is in the mail.

I have never had the spring to fail but keep a few spares just in case. Glad the P90 is up and running.
