I would like to have the walnut stocks on my standard .22 pistol recheckered and refinished, they are worn nearly smooth. Any leads would be appreciated.
Why not get a checkering tool and do it yourself? The tools are quite inexpensive and the work's not all that difficult. And you get to say, "I did it myself!"
I redid the S&W target stocks on the Smiths in these pics and they turned out great!
This is an older pistol, 11- serial number gives it a DOB of 1972/1973 so I believe the stocks to be original to the gun. I want them to look nice, would likely mess them up if I tryed myself.
