I recently acquired a Ruger LC9, NIB, S/N 320-00017. The fired shell was dated 4/8/11.

It came from the close out of a distributor, and was led to believe it was from his personal collection. I understand some do collect low number guns, and was wondering how much if anything that may add to the value.

Richard back in the day Ruger had a "subscription program". It was discontinued maybe 10 years ago.

Be nice to know who was buying all the serial number 17 guns back then and especially who owns them now. That person would be your best source as a potential buyer in my mind.

Exactly how much does it add? I don't know.

Regardless, the ultra low number guns are GOOD property to own; especially when they're the whole package.
