LC9s magazine issue

I have noticed several times that after shooting all the rounds from my magazine, it will not drop free from the frame. And the magazine release button will be hard to push.
Pulling from the bottom of the magazine does not seem to help. But I have found that if I push from the top while depressing the magazine button, it will drop free.

This is obviously not ideal in a carry gun and I am wondering about the cause. Could the magazine disconnect be at fault? I have heard that it is 'problematic' but I have no further details.

Mark your magazines and see if it is one magazine doing it.... besides that all I can suggest is clean and lube....
