Lc9s slide

I seen a picture of a lc9s with a stainless slide was this a fake or did Ruger make one with a stainless slide the reason I ask is mine rusted pretty bad from sweat I got it fixed but now its rusting again.

You could always have your slide ceracoted. I did that with a 1911 and am happy with it.

If properly done, a Cerakoted slide will resist whatever is in your sweat that is causing it to corrode. I have customers that have had guns that I have Cerakoted for them that they wear everyday IWB with nothing between them and the gun and they still look great after 5 years.

This. I was using an Uncle Mikes' holster which was great, but the slide was rusting around where it touched the holster's upper lip. After cleaning slide with fine steel wool and putting on some dry lube, I switched to a DeSantis and so far no repeat of rust (though real test will come this summer when I mow the lawn).
