Ok folks, just an idea here. Does anyone know how or who is able to attach a picatinny rail on a P-85? Got a light but no way to use it..... What say ye ?

Several months back I was looking at one of the CZ-97 pistols in 45 ACP. They have a rail section that can be added to the pistol. Their's is contoured to fit underneath the dust cover, just in front of the trigger guard. Perhaps someone makes a rail section you can adapt to your P85.

Not gonna happen. If custom work is done it will probably cost at least half what the gun is worth.

Here's an option, and only $16. It would require two holes, drilled and tapped, in the dust cover. Might not be pretty...but it's a P85. ;)

It might also be worthwhile to google the manufacturer and see if they have something closer to what you want.

Years (decades?) ago, there was a company that made a clamp for a AA Maglite that was attached to the magazine base. Perhaps you could fashion something like that and avoid permanent modifications to your pistol.
