My tigger on my LC9 was binding sometimes so i send an email to ruger telling them about it. On the return email I was advised to double check the lock and make sure it was all the way unlock if i still had a problem to call. I found the key and locked it and unlocked it, which was the first time I ever used the key. the problem seems to stop. This bother me since I was wondering if just firing the weapon moved the lock. I called and asked, was told it depends how the weapon is maintained. That when i clean the weapon I should lock it and unlock it to ensure it is all the way unlocked. I thanked him and told him i would shoot it some more and call back if I had problems. Have anyone ever had this problem? I never read anything about Ruger locks self locking like there been reports on S&W internal lock. It never locked the weapon up but I would have to release pressure on the trigger then it would fire. Not something you want to think about in a defense situation. thanks
