Well it's been 49 years and the collection is about where I want it. There's also motorcycle stuff to get and Jeep stuff I want before spring comes, a guy has to consider his priorities. The only thing I would like to have is a nice M1A but I really think it would be a great disappointment because of my failing abilities. I doubt I'm up to long range shooting anymore. I think a Corbin Seat for my bike might help my sense of loss a bit... Or perhaps LED lights on the Jeep and bike.

It's too bad the SR9 didn't sell. It was a nice looking pistol and felt good in the hand. Unfortunately I think the more compact models of 9mm are becoming the most popular.

The SR series always sold really well around here, right up to the end. In fact, the owner of the busiest shop between Lexington and Louisville told me he is really disappointed because the SR's still outsold the RAP by a considerable margin.

Ruger tells me the SR series "is just on vacation."
I asked if it was dead & that's the answer I got.
