I am thinking of buying a Mark iv for Bullseye Target Shooting. I have to buy sight unseen on line and can't get answers to some questions just by reading the specs.
1. I want the size and weight and grip of the standard 22/45 but I know the Competition model has a square U shaped outline on the rear sight, which I want, and some other Mark iv guns have a less precise rear sight.
What is the shape of the 22/45 rear sight?
2. The 22/45 is considerably less money than the Competition. Aside from other features, is the intrinsic accuracy the same? I assume the barrels are the same construction, other than length and profile, and I also assume the triggers are the same. Any insight on this?
