A couple days ago, I took the slide off of my Ruger LCP to lube the rail slots. I dropped the slide on my work bench and the guide rod and springs went in to orbit. After searching my basement, I could not locate them.

I just got off the phone with customer service this morning. A new guide rod and both recoil springs are being sent to me at no charge! Just another reason to remain a loyal Ruger customer.

I was reassembling my 1911 the other day. As I was putting the firing pin assembly into the slide, the end slipped off the tool I was using and it launched into the most congested part of my shop. I was amazed to find it just a minute or two later. The bread does land jelly side up every now and then.

Glad Ruger is taking care of you.

Both are good examples of why they make safety glasses and gallon-sized freezer bags. .
