Just picked up a new LCP, and got it out to the range today. After 18 rounds the slide pin started working its way out, and kept owing so with every magazene shot. The weird thing is, I had a heck of a time getting it out when I cleaned it.
When I field stripped it to clean, it had an excessive amount of oil on it from the factory (probably should have cleaned it before I took it out, but the manual didn't recommend it). Plus it was 20°out, so I'm not sure if either of those factors could have had an impact on this happening.
My question is, is this a known issue? Do you guys thing the oil or the cold could have caused this?
Other than that, I was pretty impressed with the accuracy at 10 yards for such a small gun.
