Recently Ruger sent me a new striker spring to replace the factory installed spring due to lite strikes. This one is better but did not make the pistol 100% reliable. I have thought about buying the Galloway heavier spring and rod but really don't want to spend any more on this than is needed. I could send it back but see postes where this had been bone over and over. Does anyone have any experience with heavier springs?
( the gun and striker spring channel is clean and no burrs)
Thanks for the advice

Send it back.
It's the only way to ensure it's fixed right; and for free.

I would send it back & give them the opportunity to make it right before I went another direction.
