Any idea what this "half rail" thingy is some people talk about on the older CZ75's?

I've got one I may sell and about fainted when I saw some with asking prices at $2000.00 and up!

Don't know if mine has this "feature" ...... any thoughts?

I would say this one has the "half rail" except CZ just calls it a rail.

I have 2 CZ75 compacts and love how they shoot. Just last week I put a CZ shadow 2 outback at my LGS. It has a really nice feel in my hand and a trigger that is so smooth you almost don't even know you pulled it.
Oh and not one of the CZ I own come even close to a 2K sale price. The 75 both where $450.00 and the shadow is $1,200.00

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. The old "original" CZ75 ... not any of the new variations.

Like this one, mine was made in the Czech Republic and has a 4 digit serial.

Ok, I found the differences finally. Thanks again for your help.

No, mine is not the short rail they try to get big dollars for.

It's the shape of the "rail" area where on these older CZ75's there really is no rail.

See the picture in the Gun Broker link I posted. Notice how the slide and "rail area" of the lower are thin from the muzzle back to the front of the trigger guard. That is the rare gun. On my gun and most others, the slide and lower are thinner only from the muzzle to about half way to the trigger guard.
