After buying a new SR9E last week, I got to thinking about the P series Rugers I've owned in the past.
The SR9 is nice, but I loved the P95 I used to own.
I started looking on auction sites and found one at a good price compared to other listings. At sub $200 with factory 2 mags, I snatched it fast.
I received it today from my dealer. After a close inspection, the only noticeable wear was to the slide bluing. All internals looked almost unused.
Once again, I'm a happy camper.

Thanks.
My next will be a P89 stainless.
The P series has always appealed to me.
Old school guy, I guess.

Is that a DC model? Old frame with the newer decock lever begs the question.

Keep the P-guns alive!!

Yes sir, it's the decocker version.
According to serial #, it was born in 2003.

Guy here sold me one a few weeks back for close to that.... older blue model decock... did not need another one and I really prefer stainless... but could not figure out how to pass it up....

At a good price, they are hard to pass on buying one.

I had a nice one. Always accurate, fun to shoot. My wife used it to qualify for her carry license.
I had a brain fart and gave it to my Grandson. He will not trade it back or even sell it to me.
That's gratitude. :D
Now I am looking for another P95DC.

I know the feeling.
I traded my 1st P95 to my shooting buddy for his P85 mk ll.
I liked the 85, but tried my best to buy back the 95.
NO luck.

I picked up my P95DC from my uncle a few years ago. Its the only plastic gun I can shoot consistently well. However it has become my wife's nightstand gun. If another one comes along, I would definitely consider picking it up. The gun just plain feels good in my hand and it has a FO front sight. Very helpful considering my 57 year old eyes.

I bought one on clearance when ruger dropped them for $279 . It is the one with the black slide , they had the stainless slides as well for I think ten dollars more . I have an sr9 as well but just like the p95 better .
