Rap trigger pull?

New it measures almost 8# with a Lyman trigger pull gauge. Will it lighten up with use? This is worse than a s&w sigma.

I have the compact version and though I don't have a trigger pull gauge it feels a whole lot less than 8#.

I also do not feel much trigger pull on my 9mm Compact. There is a little creep in slow fire but it is not noticeable otherwise.

From what I can read from tests the pull is around 6 lbs on most. My RAP 9mm Compact is a bit over 6lbs. When measuring trigger pull the reading will depend upon where the hook is placed on the trigger e.g at the tip or in the middle as the tip would give more leverage and a lower reading.
