Does anyone have experience or know if the ProMag 10 round magazine will work with the LC9?

Mine is original hammer fired LC9.

Does this 10 round mag work well or does it cause trouble?

For whatever this is worth. I'm sure there are exceptions.
I have found it's best in most cases to stick with the factory made or factory supplied mags unless they are known to have issues. I had several bad Checkmate International mags that came w/ the SR 1911 9mm.
In some cases they cost a little more but you usually get what you pay for.

As a general rule, for most pistols stick with factory or Mec-Gar (often the same) magazines. For 1911's, Wilson Combat and Chip McCormick magazines are highly regarded and Metalform are OK but everything else is suspect.

In all the years I've shooting, I've never had any luck with Promags.
That's in a large variety of guns.

Exactly. I've given them a chance not once but twice. I was let down both times.

I've never owned and as far as I know have never used any Promags. After reading this I seriously doubt I will give them a chance. I've thought about trying them a couple of times and always ended up going a different route.
I'll stick with the Factory mags or aftermarket mags with a good track record.

Looks like the jury is out and have found Promags to be guilty of being garbage. I'm glad to know this and will steer clear of them.
Thanks for the info.
