Greetings everyone. I am new to this site but I'm looking forward to meetin' some new folks who love Rugers as much as I do. I have a question that may have been addressed here before so forgive me if it has been. I have the 9E and the SR9c. I was wondering if it was possible to switch the compact's barrel for the longer 9E's barrel. Just looking at them side by side they are almost identical except the 9E has a little bit longer lower lug on the bottom. I have put the longer barrel in the compact's slide and it appears to function perfectly. Anyone ever done this swap and actually shot it? If so what were the results? Thanks.
