Has anyone used ProMag magazines in their LC9s? If so, your recommendation on how they work, pricewise they are half the price of the Ruger marked mags.

The general consensus about magazines is the following:

(1) Factory for all pistols
(2) Mecgar for non-1911
(3) Wilson for 1911

The ones I have are fine as range mags, but I wouldn't depend on them for HD or SD purposes.

Good rules. Just remember Metalform is the OEM supplier for many 1911 makers and MecGar is the OEM supplier for a huge range of other pistols. So rule 2 covers a lot of Rule 1 also.

As to Wilson for 1911's, ABSOLUTELY. Particularly for 9 mm 1911's.
