I screwed up my wifes lc9s HELP

We sent my wifes Lc9s to get hydro dipped i was rushing during the reassembly and put the extractor plunger in before the spring! now i cant get the plunger out of the hole any suggestions on getting it out would be greatly apprieciated.

Paper clip or tooth pick with a drop of super glue carefully inserted?

Rap it on a firm surface. That should jar it loose.

If you go to Home Depot you can buy one of those magnets on a telescoping handle. They use a Neodymium magnet and will pull it right up. Also useful pick up tool for your shop. Don't worry, you are not an idiot, we all do these things occasionally.

Some of us (me, I) have a pretty regular schedule of these types of things. Ditto on the magnets, very handy tool along with a "sneaky pete" claw grabber.

The only people that don't make screw ups are those who do nothing.
