Hopefully someone can answer this question for me. I currently own one of the original LC9's and I just purchased a new LC9s in order to have the better trigger pull of the LC9S. However I do like having the loaded round indicator that is one the original LC9 but is no longer on the new LC9s.

Can I just swap the slides on the two guns and retain the loaded round indicator?

Any problems to expect other than it probably invalidates the warranty on the new LC9s?

I'm betting that the striker LC9s and hammer fired LC9 slides are not interchangeable.

Like a couple people mentioned above, the slides are completely different due to the fact that the original LC9 is hammer fired and the LC9s is striker fired. However, on the LC9s there is a decent gap on the top and side that you can see if a round is in the chamber through.
