Just got my first Ruger: LC9s!

Been drooling over this gun for months for use as a CCW (and a replacement for my Beretta Nano which I didn't really like), and finally went for it. Took it out today (with very limited time and daylight) and put 25rds of Hornady Critical Defense through it and 20rds of American Eagle 124gr. No malfunctions, as expected, and really loved the feel of it. Hopefully I'll have more time soon to give it a more thorough shake-down.

I really like mine. I use it now instead of my Glock 42 or my Bersa Thunder.

I have two close friends, a mother and her adult son who both carried Gluck's. After a range session with my LC9s, they both bought the LC9s and put their Gluck's up for ale on GB. What does that say about Ruger firearms!

Yeah, I have a Glock 26 with around 7000 rounds through it, all original parts, only one malfunction to its name in its entire life (stovepipe at about 3k rounds).

Glocks are great guns, imho, but the LC9s just struck me as perfect for CCW, and the trigger feels soooo good. Been poring over range reports and reviews and it seems like no one can say anything bad about it...

Mine has been my EDC for quite a while now. I had gone to a gun shop to look at, and likely buy a S&W 9mm Shield, but the LC9s looked very similar to me, and when I felt the great trigger I was sold. Later I added a Crimson Trace laser for lowlight situations and I just love this gun. Mostly I carry it in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster.

I got DeSantis Apache and Pro Stealth holsters for it. If I ever get around to buying cargo pants again, I'll grab the Nemesis as well so I can stick it in one of the big leg pockets. DeSantis makes really great holsters...
