Last summer I met some outfitters in Ennis, MT. To a man they carried Glock 10mms for their sidearms. I have a Kimber Eclipse 10mm. Still working the bugs out but like the platform. Like others have said here, I doubt Ruger will offer a 10 unless a distributor asks for one on the SR1911 platform. Remember how long it took Ruger to chamber a Blackhawk in 44 Special?

If I get a 10mm, I would want it to be able to shoot 40cal too.

First choice would be a Blackhawk with two cylinders, second choice GP100 with moon clips.

Took my G-21 in .45 ACP.

Got the long, Lone Wolf barrel in 10mm.

Got a few 10 mm magazines from a G-20.

Made up "The Beast" and it is a tack driving sledge hammer of a pistol....

Don't even look at a ''Block'' let alone buy one. Save your pennies and buy a Sig P220 in 10mm. I did, and have never been happier. I don't think Ruger will ever come out with a 10mm until they're 100% sure their 1911 frames can handle the stress. Colt did have some frame problems when they first came with the Delta Elite back in the 80's if I remember correctly. Seriously, look at the Sig P220.

Sure, if you want a 10mm that costs $1500, only holds 8 rounds, and weighs 40 ounces, get the 220. Otherwise get the most popular 10mm on the planet, the "Block".

I have two 10MM a G-29 that I really like and a EAA Witness Elite Match that I love. I would like a G-20, but too many other priorities first

I've had one Ruger so far and it's been a lemon. Not impressed.
What model hurt your feelings? in forty years of shooting Rugers, I've yet to see one that wouldn't shoot good for me. Maybe I'm just a satisfied, loyal Ruger fan

In every such case when there's one insisting they make a ________, I say this. If it's such a great idea and sure money maker, step up, put the $ up and contract it through a distributor. After all, if it's such a great idea, it's a automatic win investment. :)

I had a glock in 10mm years ago and would love to see an SR series in 10mm.
