I'm trying to adjust the rear sight on my LC9s, but that thing will not budge no matter how hard or how much I bang on it. Do I need to spray it with something? How do I get this thing to move?

FIRST, you must loosen the little set screw. Then, lightly tap with a brass or plastic-tip punch and hammer (on the punch). Then tighten the set screw.

Mine won't budge either. Yes, I did remove the set screw. Yes, I hit it with a plastic punch (hard and numerous times).

Anyone have an answer?

Try a sight pusher or put a little heat on the sight incase they put loctite on the sight.

I finally took mine and put it into a padded vice. Pounded on it with a brass punch until it moved to where I wanted it to be. Ruger "adjustable" sights are a royal pain.

Yes, but they do not move when you don't want them to either!
