Bigger or different mag release for P85?

Same story, different part... If I had longer fingers, I could drop the P85 mag without changing my grip. Has someone considered a larger mag release? Looks like the opening available will be the limiting factor, though...

Going over to GPC to look at the parts schematic... Oohhh, lookit. Left AND right magazine latch. Not sure what they pivot on, but IF they are installed INTO the openings at the back of the trigger guard, a bigger head MIGHT be possible...

The left latch is the one with the actual magazine catch on it...

Popped my Hogue rubber grips off, that mag latch spring is the only thing keeping both right and left latches in the frame. Interesting.

How the heck does the latch spring come out?

Oooh, if you push in on the latch spring in the center, the right mag release latch drops out onto the floor.

But how does the left latch come out?

Same way but other side. haha.
Really though it is the same. It just takes a bit of pushing to make it happen. They can be a tight fit.
