Among my " carries" is an LCP 380. The sights are non existent,... but I have a crimson trace laser on it. It has a black slide on it now. I am looking for a replacement stainless steel slide for it,...but my "Google-Foo" must be weak today. Can anyone point me to a "site" (pun intended) where I might be able to purchase a Stainless replacement slide. As a side question,... did Ruger ever do anything to make the sights better?

I can't answer your main question, but the second generation of LCP's has more visible sights and a better trigger.

Just FYI,.... I found an answer to my question on another forum:
If anyone is thinking of contacting Ruger about obtaining a new stainless steel slide for their old blued slide LCP, don't bother. Ruger says the stainless version is an entirely different 'model'. By changing the slide you are effectively changing the model of the gun, therefore the serial number on the frame would no longer reflect the correct model number.

Ruger will not mod any gun for a customer. But you can mod it yourself.
