I would rather they made a 10mm with the SR45 frame. that would be my #1 choice for all time. there are lots of compact 45's, not too many 10mm's, and the cartridge can be loaded up or down to do a variety of jobs.
This is my thinking as well. With very little effort you can find a host of compact .45 acp pistols from different manufacturers at every price point.
I'd not want the height of the hypothetical SR45c (top of the slide to bottom of the magazine) to change for concealment reasons. So then I got to thinking about the capacity penalty that would be payed. I'd have 6-7? I'm guessing instead of the 9 in the magazine I currently have with my 40c.
Gotta be honest, if I'm only getting 6-7 I'd probably rather have a Ruger 1911cmd. I think it would have a longer barrel as well for more velocity. So for those reasons despite supporting the idea years ago. I've cooled on the idea.
