Recently picked up a 22/45 Mark III HUNTER here on the forum with a few tweaks in mind for a bullseye pistol project. Cleaned it up, added the thumbrest 1911grips from a grip maker buddy, custom mounted the rail, installed an overkill red dot that was collecting dust on the shelf, positioned the trigger for true 1911"length" and worked the trigger group for take up and overtravel adjustment and a smooth, clean 3lb. pull weight. The gun shoots great...very accurate and is NOT FUSSY about what ammo is run through it like a lot of the high-dollar bullseye pistols can be. "BEEN THERE - SOLD THEM"
It is such a joy shooting the best scores I've ever shot with an affordable USA made gun running affordable ammo.
