Can anyone tell me about this. Just bought it used. Has a serial number that starts with 373-. It doesn't have diamond behind hammer. But am I correct in this was a good bit after recall and should have been produced with upgrade during build. Ruger site shows 373- LCP prefix of 2010 build date. I also looked at a new LCP the other day and my trigger is superior to the newer short ones. Anyone else realized this as well. Any help appreciated.

Bought my "1st Generation" LCP almost 7 years ago not long after the recall was underway. Mine has the little diamond stamped in the hammer slot to indicate that it had the needed modification.
Carried it for 6 years most of the time, and it has been 100% reliable. The long trigger pull has never bothered me, but haven't seen one of the newer LCPs yet to tell the difference.
Even though I now pocket carry my new Kahr CT380, the LCP is still a keeper.

Can you post a pic of yours? I've never seen an engraved "Elsie".
