LCP takedown pin

Hi everyone,

I'm Looking for other LCP owners (only) to see if yoyare having the same troubles that I am and, if you were able to find a solution.

The problem I am having is that the takedown pin has broken once and, now the new one backs out approximately every 3-4 mags at the range. As of right now I have ran a total of 200 rounds through it. I have tried a Galloway Precision pin with the same results and, am waiting for a TandemKross pin to come in the mail (fingers crossed). If this pin doesn't work I'll just have to suck it up and send it Ruger.

Yup, had the same problem with my LCP, kept shearing off the head of the takedown pin. After replacing it about 3 times Ruger decided to take the gun back in and gave me a new one (with the new trigger pull).

Thank you for responding. The thing that gets me is that this one is the newer model and, I've had it less than a month. The original pin broke at approximately 80 rounds.

TankemKross takedown pin fixed it. Now I carry mine with confidence.
