A new SR40 here...

Kenneth has always wanted a Ruger SR style pistol so today when we both went off running separate errands(we both took off today) he returned with this one:





He half checked out a SR45 but decided that this one would fit both his and my hands better so he got the SR40. The SR9 would have been a fun one but the .40 is probably his favorite new caliber plus it is one I also like a lot as well. Hopefully tomorrow or Sunday we will get out in the country especially since the days are warming up and it is supposed to be sunny all weekend.

Congrats! They are nice shooting guns. Check out the SR40c too. Pretty handy pair since they can partially share mags. Let us know how it shoots for you!

This one is pretty nice! We did get out but only for a short time and put about 500 rounds through it with no functioning issues.

It is fun to get a new gun.

500 rounds is a good first day out. 8)

I start to feel it after about 200.

Good to hear that it is reliable.

I might have to take a look at one of these.
