So I have posted this 89 before but changed it again.

Started life as P89DC.
Changed to stainless slide.
Changed to Uncle Mike grips with custom inlay of ruger hat pin.
Changed to 95 trigger.
Changed decocker levers from a KP97DC (same as KP95DC too)
Changed slide stop to KP85 model.
and finally changed to first year P85 slide stop.

I think it is done now.... until the next thing.....

Thanks. The hardest thing was the grip mod. The other stuff is really just changing parts around a little. Had to fit the slide stop a bit but not too bad.

Not a smith by any means but like to tinker.

Yes that is my 85 Terry.
Yes I think the 85 stop will work on a 91. The 91 89 and 85 are basically the same gun. 85 sear stuff is goofy but 89 and 91 are the same for sure.

To make it work easier I filed the slant where the spring goes up and down as you push the stop out for disassembly. The old 85 stop angle is real sharp and that makes it real hard to push out.

Hard to explain in words. But yes do it. The down side is the stop is blued and the 91 is stainless.
