While perusing my LGS last Wednesday I ran across a couple like new stainless P89s. Bought one and took it home, stripped and cleaned it. Essentially zero wear and not much grime. I was very happy to add it to my little P gun collection. I decided today I would go back and get the other one but sadly I was too late. Counter guy tells me the P guns are selling nearly as soon as they are traded. I felt even more justified in my decision to collect them and will continue to do so.
I was disappointed when Ruger discontinued them and ticked off when they stopped selling the recoils springs, parts etc. But I got over it and still believe they are a good value.
I like them and that's all the reason I need to continue to seek them out. Apparently others like them too because they don't stay on the shelf long.

Welder, who is doing my part to keep the P guns alive!!
