Has anyone been successful in moving the rear sights on P95? I just acquired one, barely used, and it's shooting about 2 inches to the left at 10 yards and I want to drift the rear sight a mm or two to the right. Loosened the set screw (they did a fine job with the Permatex at the factory) and attempted to drift the sight using an aluminum punch and plastic hammer. Not much luck

This is reminiscent of years back when I tried to adjust the sights on a P94. Did a fine job of busting my left thumb nail and lost feeling to the thumb for several months. Didn't do much correcting the windage. Don't want to revisit this scenario.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Thanks.

Thought about moving up to a 16 oz. ball peen and having the wife hold the punch. Rethought this one.

Moved up to a 8oz. ball peen and moved the sight about 0.2mm. Will try this setting before moving again.

I think I would take the slide off and use a heat gun or hair dry to heat the slide and sight up and then use the brass punch to move it.
