New LC9 magazine is made in USA

Today, I picked up a brand new LC9 made in April 2014. This has the new made in USA magazine. Previously, the LC9 mags were made in Italy and apparently made by MecGar. Anyone out there have experience with these new American magazines now supplied by Ruger?

Interesting! Seems that Ruger dumped mec gar. The GREAT news is that when that happens, mec gar starts selling the same stuff under their brand at a drastically lower price. Sometimes they redesign the mag with improvements. I just got some mk iii mags and they seem more rigid than my old ones.

I wonder who is making the ones in the US?

I think this happened a while back (1-2 yrs) and I haven't seen the MecGar for sale on the MecGar site or MecGar magazine dealers like Greg Cote.

I have a new LC9s that came with made in USA mags, bought 3 more they are USA made also. Never looked at the 9 rnd ones yet

I have a 9 round that says made in italy on it.
