SR9 mag finish question

I seem to recall these having a polished blue finish when they premiered. Now, there's some sort of a 'matte' coating. That's what I have on the one I just got. Has there been any reported corrosion issues? Say, for instance, the part exposed in a duty mag pouch, or a spared carried in the jeans pocket?

I have eight each for my five SR's and none of them has any rust. not the ones carried in my pocket, none in storage. have had zero magazine issues with any SR, now that I think about it that is six SR's. forgot I recently added the SR1911CMD.
