LC9 magazine compatibility

Has anyone tried the Kel-tec PF-9 magazines in the LC9? I tried one in my new LC9s and it locked in place and held the slide back. I am going to shoot the LC9s for the first time tomorrow so I will try it and see. The magazine bodies are identical but the base plates and followers are a little different. The Kel-tec base plate does fit on the LC9.

If that is the case it would be pretty sweet as I already have a bunch of KT mags.

The KT mags will work in the Ruger, but not vise versa. Same with the LCP/P3AT.

Tried the PF9 mags in the LC9 today and they worked but were hit and miss. Had some FTF and the slide skipping the last round in the mag. I think the mag catch location is different.

Sounds like its entirely possible that one LC9 would do great with PF9 mags and another wouldn't. For example my Glock 19 functions 100% with Korean milsurp mags. Other people report nothing but problems with them.
