Older LCP subject to 'drop safety' recall

I have one of the older LCPs that was recalled a couple years back for a drop safety hazard. I finally got around to calling Ruger about it. They sent a box with instructions.

I dropped it off at UPS on Tue 22 July. Yesterday, Fri 25 July, I got an email saying it had been shipped back to me via 2-day FedEx. I should have it Mon 28 July.

Wow. That's ridiculous fast.

I like it so much that the day I sent it back I bought another one thinking I'd be without it for a while. My wife has claimed the new one as soon as I get the first one back.

Ruger customer service is THE best period. Good for you on two LCPs. I bought one for my wife but until she gets her carry permit its my summer pocket gun!!! Might just have to get a second one for her too.
