Went to Lou's Police Supply and bought a new LCP-CT. Held a new PPK/s in my hand but my brain said no.
LCP was $395.
Took it to the range yesterday and ran 60 FMJ assorted. Never missed a beat. Accurate enough.
Told my boy to stop by for dinner and bring his Sig 238. I ran 100 thru it when he bought it, some 115gr XTP's and the Sig is very very nice. He has never shot it.
Gave him the LCP as a gift.
Then wrote him a check for the Sig. Gave him 50¢ on the dollar. Just kidding.
He ain't a condition one person.
Will load a bunch of 380's and have some fun with the little guns.
Ruger did a good job with the LCP.
The cats love chasing the laser.
Next year he gets the old Security Six 357 snubby .....provided he puts a safe in the house.
Always a joy to spoil my hard working young man.

I recently got the big brother to the 238. It's the 938 equinox. 9mm. If your 238 shoots like this, you will LOVE it... And my new Sig C3 Plus has given me a new respect for the 1911. I had NO idea the platform could perform like this.

Would you expect anything less from a Sig ? :D

My son just called me and said he ripped up the check I gave him. His logic is that he will get them all at some point. :)
He has the new LCP and a couple of full size pistols.
Then he said that the new Ruger SR22 rifle should stay at our house. I just gave him a 3X9 and taught him how to mount and use the laser to sight it in.
The ammo is off limits unless he sits down and learns to reload. :)
I was with him when he bought the Sig. Had they had the HD we would have bought that instead of the Equinox. I like buns of steel....I mean guns of steel.
At some point the trigger on the 238 will be made crisp.
All steel Colts are our favorites.
I gave my brother my new Ace back in 1981 to go with his 10/22.
It's not how much we give.....but how much love we put in the giving. (MT)
