Has anyone seen the new Carbon Fiber looking frame?
Saw an ad at a local gun store but of course they had none in stock.

why not just put racing stripes on it too while you're at it for god sake

never saw anything so ridiculous in my life

next thing we see will probably be a Hello Kitty edition, or a pink one to match some of you guy's purses.

lol, Rev don't hold back OK.

It is marketing.

Sorta like putting different wood grips on a pistol or polishing a stainless unit to shine. To each there own. Talo does it to sell more guns and make money.

Like all the "zombie" stuff you see. In the movies zombies seem pretty easy to kill to me....

Marketing schmarketing .... about what I think about most aftermarket fancy grips too.

Since when did concealed guns become fashion accessories ?

I guess some guys need a gun that matches their panties every day.

Ruger's new advertisement ....

Buy Ruger ... the metrosexual's number one choice in CCW ... now available in faux fuschia carbon fiber.

About the time some guy had his Colt SAA fitted with carved ivory grips in the 1870's.

Another error in firearm judgement .....

True and it actually goes back even farther then that. Even in early human history mankind has adorned his weapons with many decorations. The truth is as soon as we started carrying lethal weapons we began decorating them. Even the early spears, then through swords into the gunpowder era. There are many artifacts to prove man's been decorating weapons about as long as they have ever been carried. Sorry it burns ya so bad Rev, but this is nothing new.

Rev likes to stir the pot a little.

I'm actually surprised he didn't burn me when I posted my polished P944DC unit.
1. It is a P-gun which he doesn't care for and
2. It was polished. (with white pearl grips!)

HAHAHAHA

Also an example of my custom grips on another custom P944DC.

HAHAHA, I knew you'd like those.

Side note since I already jacked this tread a little. I put the pearse rubber finger grip piece on my SR1911. Still need to shoot it though.

Sorry, Rev, but guns are no longer just for manly men. And in a world where perfectly good automobile wheels are being replaced with overpriced, oversized chrome monstrosities mounting overpriced, underperforming tires, it's not surprising that firearms are drifting away from the functional "walnut and steel" toward polymers, pinks and scales. Sad, but not surprising. :(

I replied earlier but i guess it didn't take for some reason. The gun pictured is my SR9C and it has the Waterdog Micro fiber film on it. The gun functions fine and i'm happy with it and thats all i care.I posted the pictures for all to see and some will like it and some won't.
