Can somebody tell me if the trigger pivots on the pin or does the trigger and pin
both pivot in the frame?
Bought a real UGLY looking P944, everything insides looks real nice, but
I see the pin rotates in the frame and was wondering if this is correct.
Going to detail strip it soon.
Thanks

It's a 2006 with a safety.
It has the cam block style barrel.
What I see is the pin rotates with the trigger, not sure if it's
a rust/corrosion issue with the trigger and pin or it's
designed that way. Seems odd, I'd think the pin should be
tight in the frame and the trigger should pivot on the pin.
I have zero experience with these models.
Hence the question.
Thanks
Dave

Mine has no rust or dirt issues and the pin moves with the trigger. Not saying it SHOULD be that way since I've never taken mine completely apart so I dont know for sure. But hopefully gives you some guidance.

I tinker on the older style but I think there is a ball bearing or something in the trigger / shaft that makes them pivot together.

The exploded parts view shows a trigger plunger and spring. Looks like
it may lock into a groove in the trigger pin.
Guess I'll find out when I pull it apart.
Thanks for the feedback.
