Has anyone tried the Wolf increased power recoil spring kit for the LCP? I believe the stock recoil spring is 9# and the Wolf is 13#. Thanks

I just installed a set in my LCP. I haven't had a chance to live fire it yet, but I ran a magazine of flat nose FMJ through the gun with no problem. With the regular spring, I'd have trouble with the slide going fully into battery with these rounds.

So, so far so good.

BTW, changing the firing pin spring is interesting. The roll pin that captures the firing pin is driven in on an angle.

I bought the calibration pack from them trying to reduce the recoil. For some reason my wife dosen't like the way this little gun bites. She shoots harder recoiling guns all day long and loves it. After playing with the different springs and testing she now loves to shoot it and I have to say that the recoil, at least on this gun, has been noticably reduced. I can't remember which spring I wound up installing, but I think it was the stongest.

tried recoil pack--13#ers work best for me. stuck with them with good results. hard to rack and engage slide lock at first but within a few mags she will settle down.

13# wolf springs made a world of difference.
