Found: GF-84NYCPD w/low ser. no.

Found a GF-84NYCPD as confirmed by the nice ladies at Ruger records. Serial number is 162-400087 shipped in May of 1987. :D

I believe this is now the lowest known serial number for this model.

I'll guess that there are many more of these out there waiting to be found. Still, it's a unique model with it's own model ID.

Thanks for the kind words.
I seem to have been able to connect with several of the unique models that Ruger made up in an attempt to secure police dept. contracts, some successful such as Boston and NYC, and some notable failures such as the RCMP and CHP.

I'm tentatively planning on making the hike back to Harrisburg in March for another great 'show and tell'. :D
(I'm working on implementing some of the display improvements suggested by the 'old timers' for an even better display. :shock: )
