There is one for sale in a Eugene, Oregon gunshop. I had never heard of it. Is this sometrhing I skipped over in one of my RENE isues?

Yes....The 60th Anniversary offerings are all by the TALO group of distributors and include a KNR5-60, KNR6-50, MKIII512-60, KMKIII512-60, NV455-60 and KNV455-60.

I think, from my perspective, that these are interesting, but they are not Factory issues, but instead, a Distributor embellishment. No attraction for me, compared to the Factory 357, 44, Bearcat and 44 Super........Jmo, of course. 8)

Agree given current pricing I've seen, if the come down some I'd consider one. Mostly I want a 50th SS6. Have yet to get a SS6 but on the lookout for an interesting one.
