Just heard from a collector yesterday who said he picked up two of these, both the 10/22RB (Ruger model 1103), serial numbers B335-85110 and B335-85125.

Looks like Ruger made another gaffe in their serial numbering on this. The 335- prefix has not been used yet, though would eventually be a sequence of SR9 serial numbers. I presume somebody didn't get that middle digit of the prefix turned to a number "5" (for a 355- prefix) for 10/22 serial number sequencing.

This also brings up another thought about the B121- and B131- prefix 10/22's made in 1971, often attributed to a "duplicate" serial numbering error. Now that Ruger has made these "B" 335- 10/22's, the "B" in this case doesn't really signify a duplicate serial number since the SR9's are a few years away from reaching the 335- prefix. But the letter "B" is the 10/22 part number prefix throughout the 10/22 instruction manual.
