Id like to have a 32 stamped SSM 9.5 but bet they are scarce.
This one for auction is not stamped SSM. Only the first 800 were according to what I read.

I had serial #803, if I remeber correctly and it was not stamped SSM, so the 800 figure may be pretty close, only one 4 5/8" known........not sure about the 9 1/2", Coogs.

A couple of years ago Cabelas in Glendale, AZ had one with box and papers in pristine condition for around $450. Since I had 2 or 3 SSM-4s at the time I passed. Sure was a nice one.

The 9-1/2" is probably the scarcest of the .32 Mag. adj. sight models, but no SSM marked guns are known. The earliest I have recorded is 650-02719 (not sure what the sn is on the GB gun...but I can see 650-0xxxx).
Today there are 3 SSM marked 4-5/8" guns known...650-00030, 650-00042 and 650-00108 with each having employee ties. In fact, sn's 42 and 108 are also unusual in that they were factory fitted with steel grip frames (not sure about #30).

Coogs...yours was 650-00804. Have also recorded 650-00802, another SSM4 without SSM markings. 650-00752 remains the highest known that is marked SSM.

Reminds me of the only SSM-marked gun I've owned. It belonged to Grits Gresham. Traded it off last year as part of a deal for two TLAs. Not regretting getting the TLAs, but I sure wish I'd kept Grits' gun. It was in the 500 SN range, but I'd have to look in my notes to get the exact number. Something like 534.
