Sales Sample LCR

Bought this LCR at the ROCS banquet/auction at Tulsa. Really like it but (will show my lack of knowledge) not sure who R.G. is in the Ruger organization.

Kind of a neat look and usually those fancy colored guns don't do much for me.

What caliber is it?

I'd assume 38 or 9mm and a polymer frame instead of steel.

Same as my CCW gun. Mine has the factory red fiber optic front site though.

Not me, this time,,,,,we do not get into the "new" model stuff ,let alone "off color" stuff , not our cup of tea...kinnda neat,,,BUT bottom line it is at least marked a "sales" sample,,,over the years they either marked them "S" or "U"....soo a collectors?? ( of that model)item?? or for a display, which is right up Ron's alley !!!!

R.G. - short for R.G. Stitt, Ruger's NSM I believe....
