How desirable are the Ruger Super Single Six's? Are they difficult to find? Thanks

They are pretty neat, and many are not too hard to find. The 4-5/8" version, however, is extremely scarce and brings big bucks. Most all are convertibles, but there were a few "magnum only" versions, and there were some "seconds" too. In addition, there were some marked duplicates to add interest. There were some chrome ones too, very hard to find.

If you're a "numbers guy" there are both no-prefix and prefix numbered guns, too.

You can find plenty of 5-1/2" and 6-1/2" shooters, and if you want to get picky you can still find pretty nice ones, as well. I like 'em.

Thanks Ale. I have one, a 6 1/2", Pre-Fixed. And an opportunity to buy another, which I might, if it is another barrel length. It might be a 5 1/2", and as I recall, Un-Pre-Fixed. Hard decision, as I've had my eye on a 1911.
