Good evening at the Poulin auction

Had a pretty good evening tonight, bought 5 Rugers at the Poulin auction at real good prices (even taking into account the auctioneers premium).

Three of them, a GP100, SP101, and a Security Six were serial number 46.

The other two were a 5.5" RedHawk (.44 mag) and another GP100 (will evaluate my GP's and probably sell one or two that will now be excess to my needs). I have been looking for the 5.5" as IMO it balances and carries the best.

Prices are in the tank on many items. A buyers market for sure.

I agree, the 5.5 inch Redhawks are a perfect balance.

Makes me think I should've taken the couple hours to make the drive

A lot of those #46 lots went 3 guns for the price of 1.
A BKH-47 in shooter grade, but nice shooter grade went for $600.

Well, They have been paid for and now waiting their arrival. Here is what I got:

Security Six s/n 150-00046, 4" with one piece white box with interior cutout and all paperwork
SP101 s/n 570-00046, 2 1/4" one piece yellow box with shipping sleeve and all paperwork
GP100 s/n 170-00046, 4" one piece yellow box w/all packing and original invoice
Redhawk, 5 1/2" barrel, half lug, original sights plus bead front sight and deep V w/vertical white line rear sight, factory box and shipping sleeve
GP100 6" full lug factory box and shipping sleeve

The #46 s/n guns are, in the words Poulin, "all aspects of all 3 excellent and appearing new", they did come from the James A. Smith collection.

Even with the buyers premium, I basically paid $505 for each.
