Shiloh Sharps Manf Company - For Sale

Wow, I was floored to read tonight on the Shiloh Rifle forum that the Big Timber, MT company is for sale.

It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out.

I wish I had that much hobby cash lying around. I doubt the niche is large enough to make a profit but I would love the idea of producing a quality product based on ancient designs. Then maybe just to lose even more money introduce a line off the blueprints of the "03" & "trapdoor" Springfield just so two more classics live into the 21st century.

Increasingly shrinking niche market. Fine rifles but those that have interest AND can afford them are becoming fewer and fewer.
